SUBJECT: Police Investigate Robbery at 8th Street Video Store

INCIDENT LOCATION: 8th Street Video, 1032 East 9th Street
On Wednesday March 30th, 2011 at 8:56PM Duluth Police responded to a robbery at the 8th St. Video Store, 1032 East 9th Street.
Officers arrived and spoke to the employee at the store who said a white male in his 20’s, 200-225 pounds, wearing a light blue hoodie, with a partial mask over his face, pointed a handgun at him and demanded money. The employee struggled with the suspect and was able to get the gun. The suspect fled the store with a small amount of cash and lost his shoe on the way out.
The recovered weapon used was a BB gun that is a replica semi-automatic handgun.
