Mayor Ness to Proclaim April 15 Global Youth Service Day
in Enger Park at 11:15 AM today
[Duluth, MN] - Mayor Don Ness will be at Enger Park today at 11:15 AM to proclaim today, April 15, 2011 Global Youth Service Day. On hand will be nearly 200 student volunteers who will be cleaning up Enger Park as part of a week long City effort to recognize Earth Day and the 16th Annual Clean and Green program.
The day long event will enable students to clean the gardens, participate in geocaching, get training on invasive species, and hear fellow students original works of poetry celebrating Enger Park.
