Public Invited to “Art for Enger Tower” Silent Auction and Dance

The public is invited to attend the “Art for Enger Tower” Silent Auction and Dance which will be held on Monday, May 23rd beginning at 4:30 PM. The event will take place at the Clyde Iron Works building located at 2920 West Michigan Street.  The popular Jim Melde Big Band will entertain the audience from 6:00-9:00 PM.  A suggested $5.00 donation is welcomed at the door.

The silent auction will feature the Duluth Public Schools Central/Denfeld art students who are supporting the Enger Tower restoration project by donating their beautiful artwork to be auctioned off.  Jewelry, pottery and paintings are among the items to be auctioned. All the proceeds from the auction will go directly to the Enger Tower restoration fund. Come help support one of Duluth’s most iconic historical structures and its surrounding park, picnic areas, trails and gardens.

Please join us for an evening of art, music and dance. This event is presented by the Duluth Public Schools, City of Duluth, Service Learning Duluth, Mix 108 and Clyde Iron Works.
