Downtown Duluth Library, Plaza
(on West Michigan Street at 5th Ave West)
 
 
Mayor Don Ness, state elected officials, City Council members, and other community leaders will officially dedicate the mural of book spines painted on the pillar of the downtown library by local artist Scott Murphy. The event will take place today, Friday, June 10, 2011 at 1:00 PM. The project was funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
 
The Mayor and community leaders will make statements and be available for questions. The artist will also be present.
