City of Duluth and Supervisory Bargaining Unit Reach Tentative Agreement

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth and the City of Duluth Supervisory Association (CDSA) have reached a tentative one-year labor agreement for 2011. The membership will meet to discuss the tentative agreement in the upcoming weeks and hold a vote to ratify the agreement.

"I'm pleased CDSA and Administration were able to reach a mutual agreement and thank the CDSA bargaining team for working with the City in finding resolution in the face of the current uncertain State budgetary conditions,” said David Montgomery, the City's Chief Administrative Officer.

"The CDSA believes that because of the current economic conditions and the State's current budget issues, this one year 2011 tentative agreement is in the best interests of the City and the CDSA. The CDSA would like to thank the Administration for working diligently and cooperatively with CDSA in reaching this tentative agreement," said Nick Petrangelo, CDSA President.
