Section of 24th Ave West will temporarily close for repairs
 
[Duluth, MN] – The City of Duluth street maintenance crews will be closing off the section of 24th Ave West between Grand Avenue and West 6th Street starting Monday, July 25, 2011. The closure is necessary to make improvements to the road as a result multiple water main repairs that occurred during the winter. Crews patched the holes but now need to return and make permanent repairs to improve the condition and quality of the road.
 
Crews will start work Monday, July 25, 2011 and expect to be finished by Wednesday. This stretch of 24h Ave West will be closed but the cross streets will be accessible. The public should follow assigned detour routes. Duluth Transit Authority buses will also be detoured during the project period.
