Traffic Advisory
Dr. Nancy English 5K Memorial Run/Walk
The Dr. Nancy English 5K Memorial Walk and Run will be held this Saturday, July 30, 2011, at 8:30 a.m. on Minnesota Avenue, on Park Point. The race will begin on Minnesota Avenue near Sky Harbor Airport, with runners northbound on the roadway to the turnaround near 36th Street, then back.
MInnesota Avenue will be close to traffic starting at 8:00 a.m.for the duration of the race. Motorists will be not be allowed in and out of the Park Point Recreation Area while runners are on the roadway. Motorists should be alert to officers directing traffic near 36th Street and the Park Point Recreation area.
