Traffic Advisory
The Festival 5K Race will be held on August 16th 2011 at 6:00 p. m. in the Duluth Heights neighborhood. Starting at 5:45 p.m. Northbound traffic will be detoured off Swan Lake Road from Terrrace Street to Arrowhead Road. Southbound traffic on Swan Lake Road will not be affected.
Runners will also be using the Southbound shoulder of Arlington Ave to Olive Street, then Olive Street and Stanford Avenue. Some traffic on Olive Street and Stanford Avenue will be diverted for a short time.
Police Officers, Police Reserves, and volunteers will be assisting with traffic control and directing the runners. The event should be over approximately 7:30 p. m.
Drivers are urged to use caution when using roads affected by this event.
