INCIDENT LOCATION: Lester Park Elementary School Playground
The fire at the Lester Park Elementary School playground has been determined to be arson.
An extensive investigation has been completed, finding a group of juveniles responsible for the fire. The juveniles were experimenting with fire in the playground area, eventually causing the fire to spread and destroy the playground.
Due to the ages of the juveniles, their names cannot be released.
Charges of Felony Negligent Fire Arson in the 5th Degree have been submitted to the St. Louis County Attorney's Office.
