Google Helping Minnesota Small Businesses Expand Web Presence  
 
[Duluth, MN] – Businesses are finding it difficult to grow without a strong internet presence to publicize and expand their products or services. For some small businesses, gaining a web presence can still be a challenge. This Friday, October 28, 2011, small businesses will have an opportunity to participate in Minnesota Get Your Business Online;free seminars aimed at boosting online marketing capacity for small businesses. Senator Al Franken and Mayor Don Ness will also be in attendance to speak to participants at 12:45 pm and the media is invited to cover their remarks.    
 
Minnesota Get Your Business Online is designed to help the 59% of Minnesota small businesses that do not currently have a website improve their online presence to expand their business using quick and easy tools. Google is partnering with Intuit to provide its popular Intuit Websites offerings for free, including an easy-to-build website, a customized domain name and web-hosting for one year. Participating Minnesota businesses also receive a local business listing on Google Places and free tools, training and resources to succeed online.
