INCIDENT LOCATION: Depot/Superior Street/DECC
On Friday November 11th, 2011, the Veteran’s Day March will be held. It will start at 10:00 AM, forming at the Depot, and travel up 5th Ave West, Eastbound on Superior Street using only the Eastbound lane to Lake Avenue, then South on Lake Avenue in the Southbound lane to the DECC. The march should be finished by approximately 11:00 AM.
During the event no traffic will be allowed in the Eastbound lane of Superior street from 5th Avenue West to Lake Avenue, in the Southbound lane of Lake Avenue from Superior street to Commerce street, or on Commerce street from Lake Avenue to Harbor Drive.
Police will be blocking roadways and intersections along the route as the march progresses toward the DECC.
Drivers are urged to use caution when driving the area of the event.
