Public invited to discuss changes to zoning code

 
 

The City Planning Division invites the public to a meeting to discuss the proposed Module 1 of the Unified Development Chapter, of the City of Duluth Legislative Code, on Thursday, September 17, 2009, at 6:00 PM in the Great Hall of the Depot. Members of the Clarion Associates team, consultants hired to assist City Planning staff in drafting the new land use regulations, will be available to answer questions.

 

Clarion will present on the first of four modules which includes general provisions, zoning districts, and permitted uses. Future public meetings will be scheduled for subsequent modules that will address form based districts, development standards and the review and approval procedures.     

    

The UDC will replace Chapter 50, Zoning Regulations, and other sections of the City’s Code dealing with zoning and development. The new code is anticipated to be adopted in summer 2010.
