NATURE OF INCIDENT: Female Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested

INCIDENT LOCATION: Woodland Avenue Milk House 4001 Woodland Avenue

On Friday, December 23rd, 2011 at 8:24PM Duluth Police were called to the Woodland Avenue Milk House at 4001 Woodland Avenue on the report of an armed robbery. 

The employee said the suspect, who had a handkerchief partially covering the face, entered the store pulled out a handgun and demanded money in the cash register be handed over. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.  Initial investigation revealed that the suspect fled on foot and got into a vehicle parked in a nearby parking lot.  The employee thought the suspect may have been a female.
 
On Tuesday December 27th, 2011 at approximately 4:30PM Duluth Police officers made a traffic stop in the 900 block of West 5th Street. The suspect identified as Tanieka Holdstadt, a 20 year old female resident of Duluth, was arrested during the stop on probable cause Aggravated 1st Degree Robbery and an unrelated warrant. 
 
Tanieka Holdstadt is currently being held at the Saint Louis County Jail and has been formally charged with Aid and Abet Aggravated Robbery in the First Degree.
