INCIDENT LOCATION: Highland BP gas station, #2 East Central Entrance

 

On Saturday December 31st, 2011 at 4:38 AM Duluth Police were called to the Highland BP gas station at #2 East Central Entrance on an armed robbery.

A black male wearing a winter face mask and tan puffy jacket entered the store and pulled out a handgun, threatened the employee and demanded money. The employee started to get the money when the suspect struck the employee’s hand with the gun. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.

A Saint Louis County K-9 was able to follow a track from the suspect to a nearby parking lot. It is believed the suspect left in a vehicle from there.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call 911 immediately. The investigation is continuing. No further information is available at this time.
