On Friday, February 3rd, 2012, Officer Michelle Rafferty, 42 years old and 18-year veteran of the Duluth Police Department, was formally charged for Theft.
The charge is the result of an investigation conducted by the Duluth Police Department in which Officer Rafferty is accused of stealing approximately $150.00 on Thursday, December 15th, 2011 from another Duluth police officer’s locker.
Officer Rafferty was placed on administrative leave on Friday, December 30th, 2011 pending the resolution of the investigation.
