Broken valve disrupts water service in Hunters Park
[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth Public Works & Utilities department is informing residents that water has been shut down in the Hunters Park neighborhood. City crews were conducting normal maintenance on a water valve this afternoon near Oxford Street when it failed resulting in the need to shut off water to commence repairs. The valve was in poor condition and was scheduled for replacement later this year.
City crews are on site and will work to expedite repairs. Crews hope to restore water later tonight.
Anyone with questions can call the Utility Operations office at 730-4130.
