Public Meeting on Cities, Services and Funding –

[Duluth, MN] - Last summer, the City of Duluth was one of 12 cities selected for a series of Community Conversations that were conducted as part of the League of Minnesota Cities’ initiative called “Cities, Services, and Funding: Broader Thinking, Better Solutions.” Four conversations with city-area residents were held in each of the 12 cities over the months of May through October of 2011 that addressed essential city services and sustainable policy solutions that can benefit Minnesota communities.
Now that the League has completed the conversations and is preparing to release a report of findings, it has scheduled return visits to each city to thank participants and to present a summary of those findings. Duluth area residents are invited to a special reception (light dinner) and presentation on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Central Hillside Community Center, 12 East 4th Street.
