Pedestrian bridge in Canal Park open for use

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth Public Works and Utilities Department has opened the Minnesota Slip Bridge (the blue pedestrian bridge) in Canal Park. Repairs were completed last night. The bridge is open for pedestrian traffic. The DECC staff will start regular slip bridge operations in May for water vessels. In the mean time, vessels may request a lift by contacting the Aerial Lift Bridge Operators with 24 hours advance notice.
