NATURE OF INCIDENT: Police Seeking Public's Help Locating Man w/Aggravated Robbery Warrant

INCIDENT LOCATION: Snively Road and Morley Parkway

On Sunday, April 29th, 2012 at 6:27PM Duluth Police made a traffic stop at Snively Road and Morley Parkway. The driver was identified as  Dennis Yeazle, a 23 year old male resident of Duluth. Officers learned that Yeazle had  a Felony Warrant for Aggravated Robbery and he was taken into custody and transported to the Saint Louis County Jail on the warrant.  

Saint Louis County Jail personnel called Duluth Officers back a short time later and said while Yeazle was being processed at intake he told them that he swallowed a quarter gram of heroin before being arrested. Duluth Officers transported Yeazle to St. Mary’s Hospital and he was placed on a police hold.
 
On Monday, April 30th, 2012 at 8:45AM Duluth Officers were called by St. Mary’s Hospital who said that Yeazle had just fled the hospital and was last seen running down 4th Avenue East with an I.V. in his left hand and wearing a hospital gown. Officers were unable to locate him. Yeazle is described as a 23 year old, white male, 5’11”, 180 pounds.
 
If anyone has seen or knows Yeazle’s whereabouts they are asked to call 911.
