Pedestrian bridge in Canal Park now operational

 

[Duluth, MN] - The Minnesota Slip Bridge (blue pedestrian bridge) in Canal Park is now operational and is currently in the down position for pedestrian traffic. Problems with the cable system caused a shutdown over the weekend.

Due to the reoccuring problems, the City's Public Works and Utilities Department plans to make more extensive repairs to the bridge in the near future. A public notice will be issued once the repair schedule has been confirmed. The City thanks the public for their patience.
