Public Meeting to Discuss Proposed Sign Code Regulations
[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth’s Planning Division invites public input from businesses, sign companies, residents, and other interested stakeholders concerning the newly drafted rules and regulations that govern the display, design, installation, and maintenance of signs in the City of Duluth.
A public information workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 303, City Hall (411 West First Street). The workshop will focus on the draft code written by the City’s consultant, Camiros Ltd, following several public information meetings in February. The City contracted with Camiros, Ltd to assist with the public involvement process and sign code revisions.
The current sign code has been in place since 1978 and was in need of an update. The new sign code would require approval by the Planning Commission and City Council before enactment.
