NATURE OF INCIDENT: Grand Avenue Little Store Robbery

INCIDENT TIME: 5:56 AM
INCIDENT LOCATION: 7002 Grand Avenue
On Saturday, June 23rd, 2012 at 5:56AM Duluth Police were called to the Little Store at 7002 Grand Avenue after it was robbed.
Initial investigation revealed the suspect entered the store and pulled out a tire iron and asked for money from the clerk. He stated that he was in need of a couple of hundred dollars as his daughter was in the hospital dying. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash and ran eastbound from the store. No one was injured.
The suspect was described as:
- Male
- 5’5”
- Small build
- Around 19 years old
- Possibly Native American
- Dark, thick eyebrows
- Wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt
We have attached images of the suspect captured by the store’s surveillance camera. Anyone who has any information has seen or knows the whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call 911.
