NATURE OF INCIDENT: Duluth Man Arrested for Felony Terroristic Threats

INCIDENT LOCATION: Charter Communications 640 Garfield Avenue

On July 10th, 2012 at 7:30 AM Duluth Police were called to the Charter Communications building at 640 Garfield Avenue on a call involving a male who was upset over his internet service and had made threats to blow up or burn the building.  

Duluth Police arrived and found the suspect in his vehicle in the parking lot. Charter Communications employee’s had already left the building due to the threats made. The suspect was taken into custody and identified as Steven Saari, a 27 year old, male resident of Duluth.
 
Steven Saari was transported to the Saint Louis County Jail pending formal charges for Felony Terroristic Threats.
