“Duluth Meth Dealer Chad Moehring Arrested Again”
On Thursday, September 13th, 2012 Investigators from the Lake Superior Drug and Violence Crimes Task Force (LSDVCTF) and Special Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) arrested Chad Larry Moehring, DOB: 08/12/77 for 1st Degree Sale of Methamphetamine, 1st Degree Possession of Methamphetamine. Moehring and his female companion identified as Sarah Rachelle Radosevich, DOB: 07/13/88 were in possession of approximately 41 grams of methamphetamine. Moehring and Radosevich were transporting the methamphetamine from the Twin Cities back to Duluth when they were arrested.
At the time of this most recent arrest Moehring was already out on bail from another arrest for selling methamphetamine in Duluth. In April of 2011 Moehring was arrested at a local Duluth motel for 1st Degree Sale of Methamphetamine and was found to in possession of over 300 grams of methamphetamine and investigators recovered over $17,000.00, which were proceeds from methamphetamine sales. When interviewed by investigators during this arrest Moehring admitted to selling over 50 pounds of methamphetamine in the Twin Ports area since 2010. According to Saint Louis County District Court records Moehring has pled guilty to this offense and was scheduled to be sentenced today at 1:30 P.M.
In October of 2011 Investigators from the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force seized over $5,000.00 in cash from Moehring, again all proceeds from methamphetamine sales in the Twin Ports. Moehring admitted to investigators that over the past two months he had sold between 8-10 more pounds of methamphetamine in the Twin Ports area to several local methamphetamine dealers.
In June of 2012 Moehring was arrested again in Duluth for possessing and selling methamphetamine.
Moehring has one prior conviction for selling methamphetamine. He was convicted of 1st degree sale of methamphetamine in January of 2000. Moehring received an 81 month prison sentence as a result of that case.
Moehring and Radosevich were formally charged today in Saint Louis District Court for 1st Degree Sale of Methamphetamine and 1st Degree Possession of Methamphetamine as a result of the September 13th, 2012 arrest. Both remain in custody at the Saint Louis County Jail. All of Moehring's criminal cases are being prosecuted by Assistant Saint Louis County Attorney Rebekka Stumme.
