INCIDENT LOCATION: Enger Park Golf Course
Traffic Advisory.
On Saturday, October 6th 2012, the Swain Cross Country meet will be held at the Enger Golf Course on Skyline Parkway.
School buses will start arriving at the Enger Park Golf Course parking lot approximately 9:00 a.m., and the first race starts at 10:10. The event will continue until approximately 4:00 p.m.
Only school buses, school vans, and vehicles with handicap plates/placards will be allowed to park in the Enger lot.
This event is very well attended, resulting in heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic on Skyline Parkway in the Enger Tower/Golf Course areas.
Immediately after the Swain event, at approximately 4:30 pm, the North Shore Striders will hold a 5K Run on Enger Golf Course. This event should be over about 5:30 pm.
Drivers are urged to use caution when driving the area of the event and be aware of pedestrians and no parking signs.
