INCIDENT LOCATION: 4th Avenue East & 1st Street
On Friday, October 5th, 2012 at 8:03 PM Duluth Police responded to the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred at the Miller Dwan Parking ramp booth at 4th Avenue East and 1st Street.
Initial investigation revealed that the suspect pulled out a knife and threatened the employee and left with an undisclosed amount of cash and was seen running southbound on 4th Avenue East towards Superior Street. Follow-up by Duluth Police Investigators developed a suspect, Mark Laquier a 27 year old, male resident of Duluth.
On Friday, October 12th, 2012 at 3:30 PM a Duluth Police Officer located Mark Laquier at 1st Avenue West and 1st Street and he was taken into custody and transported to the Saint Louis County Jail and formally charged with 1st Degree Aggravated Robbery.
