INCIDENT LOCATION: 2600 block of West 2nd Street
On Sunday, October 28th, 2012 at 4:48 AM Duluth Police responded to a disturbance call in the 2600 block of West 4th Street. As squads were arriving they heard shots being fired in the area. At the same time several calls came into 911 about shots being fired in the area of 27th Avenue West and 2nd Street.
Initial investigation revealed two shell casings located in the 2600 block of West 4th Street and a bullet found in a car tire. Also, two shell casings were found in the alley below the 2700 block of West 3rd Street. No one was injured.
Duluth Police are following up on several leads. This is an active investigation. No further information is available at this time. Anyone with any information is asked to call 911.
