"Duluth Creative Corridor" Report Released on Tuesday, November 13th

Mayor Don Ness, the City of Duluth, Duluth LISC, and community partners will release The Duluth Creative Corridor report at a press event on Tuesday, November 13 at 10:30 AM at Zeitgeist Arts in the atrium/commons area, 222 East Superior Street.

A group of national experts who visited Duluth in 2005 and again in 2011 as part of the Duluth East Downtown, Hillside and Waterfront Charrette study group made possible by a grant from the Knight Foundation have completed a report of recommendations for the future development of Duluth’s East Downtown, Hillside, and Waterfront districts.

The report titled Duluth Creative Corridor, created by the Duluth Progress Advisory Panel, a team from the University of Miami, FL School of Architecture and a team of Knight Community Building Fellows, includes a review of progress since the 2005 Charrette and recommendations for Duluth community leaders, businesses and others to use in order to move forward with the Charrette vision and position Duluth to become one of the country's great urban spaces.
