SUBJECT: Civic Center closed on Thursday, December 13th

Civic Center Closed to traffic and pedestrians

Thursday, December 13, Scheduled elevator work will impact elevator operation and City Hall access.

 

On Thursday, December 13, a crane will be lifting elevator parts to the roof of City Hall.  The crane will be parked in the civic center beginning in the early morning and ending later in the day.  Exact time of completion is unknown.  For safety reasons, the civic center will be closed to traffic and pedestrians on Thursday until the crane is removed. City Hall doors and walkways on the civic center side will not be accessible, and thru traffic and parking will not be allowed during this time.

Both City Hall elevators will be out of service beginning at 9:00 AM on Thursday and lasting a few hours due to the elevator renovation work being done from the roof access.  Exact time of completion is unknown.  A notice will go out when the working elevator is back in service on Thursday.
