NATURE OF INCIDENT: Duluth Police Arrest Male and Female Suspect for Burglary

INCIDENT LOCATION: 8800 block Grand Avenue

On Tuesday, February 12th, 2013 at 10:20 AM Duluth Police Officers were called to the 8800 block of Grand Avenue on a burglary in progress. A neighbor witnessed a male and female suspect wading through waist deep snow, go into their neighbor’s house through a back door. The suspects were then seen leaving the house and heading into a wooded area near 90th Avenue West and Swenson Avenue.

Duluth Police Officers located the suspects on Clyde Avenue and they were identified as Sean Saylor, a 19 year old male, resident of Duluth and Heather Goodreau, a 24 year old female, resident of Duluth. Duluth Officers located stolen items from the house on the path taken by the suspects.
Sean Saylor has the following convictions:
2011
  • Receiving Stolen Property
2012
  • 2nd Degree Burglary
  • 5th Degree Assault
  • Aid and Abet Financial Transaction Card Fraud
  • 2 counts of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle
  • 5th Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance
2013
  • Misdemeanor  Theft
 
Heather Goodreau has the following convictions:
2011
  • Shoplifting
2012
  • Misdemeanor Theft
 
Both Saylor and Goodreau were arrested and transported to the Saint Louis County Jail pending formal charges of 3rd Degree Burglary.
