INCIDENT LOCATION: 1600 block East 5th Street
On Saturday, February 16th, 2013 at 7:47 PM Duluth Police were called to the 1600 block of East 5th Street on a burglary that just occurred. The caller said a suspect entered his house with a flashlight while he was in bed and stole a snowboard and electronic equipment.
Initial investigation revealed that the suspect was Cody Walker-Nelson, a 21 year old resident of Duluth. Walker-Nelson has a relative that lived two houses away from the victim and he was last seen going into that relative’s house.
On Tuesday, February 19th, 2013 Duluth Police Officers located Cody Walker-Nelson at his relative’s house in the 1600 block of East 5th Street and he was arrested for 1st Degree Burglary and transported to the Saint Louis County Jail pending formal charges.
Cody Walker-Nelson has the following convictions:
2009 - 3rd Degree Arson
2011 - 5th Degree Domestic Assault
2011 – Disorderly Conduct
