NATURE OF INCIDENT: Police Seek Public's Help Identifying Theft Suspects

INCIDENT TIME: Between 2:30 PM & 3:00 PM
INCIDENT LOCATION: Snowflake Nordic Ski Center, 4348 Rice Lake Road
On Sunday, March 3rd, 2013 at approximately 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM there was a vehicle prowl at the Snowflake Nordic Ski Center, 4348 Rice Lake Road, where suspect(s) broke a vehicle’s window to steal a purse inside. The suspect(s) then went to Best Buy and Dunham’s Sport and purchased over $1,000 worth merchandise. The two suspects are both female – one has brown hair and is wearing a red sweatshirt and the other has blonde hair and is wearing a black jacket with a fur collar. The suspect’s images were captured on a surveillance camera.
The Duluth Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the suspects. Anyone with any information about this incident or the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Duluth Police Property Department Property Crimes Investigator Kristina Schulte at (218) 730-5717.
