DEED commissioner and Duluth officials
to tout importance of Minnesota exports

 

WHO: 
DEED Commissioner Katie Clark Sieben, Duluth Mayor Don Ness, Duluth Seaway Port Authority Executive Director Adolph Ojard, and Cirrus Aircraft CEO and co-founder Dale Klapmeier.

WHAT: 
The commissioner and Duluth officials will speak to Minnesota's 2012 Annual Export Report, the economic importance of the Duluth-Superior Port and region, as well as stories from local businesses that have found success in the global marketplace.

WHEN:
Friday, May 17, at 10 a.m. 

WHERE:
The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center, 301 Harbor Drive. The event will be held outside on the port side of the center. In the event of poor weather, it will be moved inside to the Symphony Hall Mezzanine on the second floor.
