NATURE OF INCIDENT: Heroin Trafficking Investigation yields Arrests

INCIDENT TIME: 5:43 PM
INCIDENT LOCATION: 2800 block West 2nd Street

On Tuesday, May 21^st, 2013 at 5:43 PM Duluth Police officers and investigators with the Lake Superior Drug & Violent Crime Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2800 block of West 2^nd Street. This warrant was part of an on-going heroin trafficking investigation.

The following were arrested:

Devon Tikee Williams, a 22 year old male resident of Minneapolis – Arrested for 2^nd Degree Sale of Heroin
Demetrius Jermaine Durant, a 36 year old male resident of Minneapolis -Arrested on a Hennepin County Warrant
Roland Duane Maynard, a 24 year old male resident of Duluth - Arrested on a Failure to Appear (Felony) Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance
Ida Eleanor Coyle, a 37 year old female resident of Duluth - Arrested on a Carlton County Misdemeanor Theft warrant and a Saint Louis County Gross Misdemeanor Violation of Probation warrant.

All were transported to the Saint Louis County Jail and booked on their above-listed charges.
