Public is invited to discuss the design of the Bristol Street Bridge Flood Repairs
As part of the recovery from the June 2012 flood, the City of Duluth will be considering design options for the Bristol Street Bridge located between N 63rd Ave. West and N 62nd Ave. West at Keene Creek.
The public is invited to a public meeting to discuss the proposed design options, one of which would be to eliminate the Bristol Street Bridge while maintaining access to the N 63rd Ave. West alley and Keene Creek Park’s parking lot off Bristol Street. The meeting will take place at 5:00-6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 12 at City Center West located at 5830 Grand Ave. Duluth, MN, 55807. Topics will include the proposed design and the project schedule followed by a question and answer session.
UPDATE: The N 63rd Ave. W Bridge at Keene Creek is scheduled for bid in June/July for construction this fall.
If you have questions or comments for either project and cannot attend the meeting, please send comments by mail to the Department of Public Works/Utilities, Engineering Division, 211 City Hall, Duluth, MN 55802 or by email to ploomis@duluthmn.gov or call Patrick Loomis at (218) 730-5094
