Media Advisory: Today, EPA and MPCA to Announce Funds to Restore St. Louis River
(Duluth, MN – June 21, 2013) – Susan Hedman, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Regional Administrator and Great Lakes National Program Manager will announce a Great Lakes Restoration Initiative grant to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to restore the St. Louis River watershed.
WHAT: Announcement of funds to restore the St. Louis River watershed.
WHEN: Friday, June 21, at 10:00 a.m.
WHERE: Rice’s Point, near the old Interstate Bridge, off Port Terminal Road (under the Blatnik Bridge), Duluth, Minnesota.
Rain location: Duluth City Hall, Mayor’s Reception Room, #402, 411 W. 1st Street.
WHO: EPA Regional Administrator and Great Lakes National Program Manager Susan Hedman; Representative Rick Nolan; Lt.
