Public Invited to Natural Gas Rate Increase Meetings

 

The Duluth Public Utilities Commission will hold two public meetings regarding proposed natural gas rate increases. The meetings will be held on July 23, 2013, at 8:00 a.m. in City Hall Room 303 and on July 30, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at Central Hillside Community Center, which is located at 12 East 4th Street.

 

The purpose of the meetings will be to discuss the current state of the natural gas system, to explain the proposed changes to the natural gas rates, and to receive comments from the public regarding these proposed changes.

 

Additionally, a public hearing will be held during the regular Duluth Public Utilities Commission meeting which is scheduled for August 20, 2013, at 5:15 p.m. in City Council Chambers.
