Duluth Police Department Investigate Arson Fire
On 07/26/2013 at approximately 11:36 am, both the Duluth Police Department and Duluth Fire Department were dispatched to 769 Upham Rd on the report of a structure fire. Though no one was found inside the residence, police located one male standing outside the residence at the time of the fire and he was taken in for questioning. The male, a Duluth resident, later identified as Michael James Larson DOB 02/13/1987, was arrested for 1st Degree Arson and lodged at the St. Louis County Jail. This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with any information is asked to call DPD Arson Investigator Todd Kuusisto at 730-5709.
