Traffic Advisory - “Veterans Stand Down” event
On Friday August 23rd, 2013 MACV will hold their annual "Veteran's Stand Down" Event at the Depot. The event starts at 8:00 am and ends at 2:00 pm however, Michigan Street from 5th Avenue West to 6th Avenue West will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm to allow for event set up / tear down.
This will include the closing of the Michigan street exit off the freeway. Michigan street from 5th Avenue West to 6th Avenue West will also be signed No Parking 6:00 am-3:00 pm.
The City Parking Lot at the bottom of 6th Avenue West will remain open and is accessible from 6th Avenue West.
Drivers are urged to use caution when driving the area of the event.
