INCIDENT LOCATION: #10 Block of North 25th Avenue West
On Saturday, September 21st, 2013 at 2:13 PM Duluth Police responded to a shooting incident that occurred inside a residence in the #10 Block of North 25th Avenue West. Initial investigation revealed that Nathan Abel Piscitelli, a 25 year old male resident of Duluth had a single non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to Essentia St. Mary’s Hospital for his injury.
Further investigation revealed that Piscitelli shot himself with a .22 caliber handgun and during a subsequent search warrant the gun was located and confiscated.
On 9/25/13 at 11:12 AM Duluth Police arrested Piscitelli on his release from Essentia St. Mary’s Hospital. He was transported to the Saint Louis County Jail for Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Failure to Register (Predatory Offender).
