Community Meetings to Discuss Superior Street Reconstruction (revised)

[Duluth, MN] – Duluth’s Superior Street in the downtown district is a historic and well-traveled brick paved road that has endured years of wear and tear with increased commercial activity and tourism. The City of Duluth is undertaking a public process to obtain community input on the potential reconstruction of Superior Street  between 6th Ave West and 4th Ave East.

The City of Duluth Planning Division and a hired consulting firm will facilitate the first of several public meetings on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. in the Greysolon Ballroom at 231 East Superior Street. The public is encouraged to attend.

The purpose of this meeting is to bring awareness to the issue and start the discussion about the future vision for this critical arterial route including utility upgrades. Additional information is available on the City’s website at www.duluthmn.gov/superiorstreet

Anyone with questions should contact Jenn Reed Moses in the City’s Planning office at (218) 730-5328.
