On 11/11/2013 at approximately 8:15 p.m. a female was out for a run in the 1700 block of East 1st St when she was approached by a male looking for assistance finding a house. The male then grabbed the female’s hand and tried to pull her toward him. After a brief struggle, the female was able to run away from the suspect. The male suspect was described as white, skinny, 6 feet tall, with a deep voice, scruffy face, big nose, and wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt.
The Duluth Police Department wants to remind everyone to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to 911. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact Investigations at 730-5560
