Public Meetings Scheduled on Street Improvement Plan
[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth invites the public to attend upcoming public meetings on a Street Improvement Plan. Three meetings have been scheduled at the following times and locations:
- Wednesday, November 20th, 6 pm, at East High School, Room 1060
- Tuesday, November 26th, 6 pm, at Denfeld High School, Media Room
- Monday, December 2nd, Noon, Duluth City Hall, Room 303
At these meetings, City officials will provide a brief overview, outline the goals and challenges, and discuss possible solutions including funding sources. Staff will be on hand to help lead the discussion, answer questions, and record feedback from the public. All are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
A streets working group has been meeting regularly for several months to address and summarize the issue of street improvements and provide possible solutions. The working group consists of City staff (administration, engineering, streets maintenance, and finance) as well as three city councilors, as appointed by the Council President.
