Duluth Police respond to sound of shots call

On 11/14/2013 at approximately 9:31 p.m. Duluth Police respond to the sound of shots in the area of 6th Ave E and 6th St.  Witnesses reported three males got into a fight inside the store prior to shots being fired. A squad close to the area saw a suspect vehicle and stopped it. Stemming from this event, Duluth Police arrested Devon Maurice Bowser 06/18/1984 for Felon in Possession of a Firearm.  Bowser was then lodged at the St. Louis County Jail. Duluth Police do not believe that this was a random act but those involved in the call likely knew each other.
