Hartley Nature Center Planning Meeting to be Held Tomorrow,
November 20
[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth’s Parks and Recreation division invites the public to a meeting tomorrow, November 20, to discuss future plans for Hartley Nature Center. The City has contracted with SRF Consulting Group, Inc., to work with City staff, Nature Center staff, stakeholder group representatives, the City’s cross-country ski trail consultant and the public to develop a “Mini-Master Plan” for Hartley Park. This plan includes the Woodland Community Recreation Area. The City will provide an update on the group’s progress at the upcoming meeting on:
Wednesday, November 20, 2013
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Hartley Nature Center
3001 Woodland Avenue
The Mini-Master Plan will address all aspects of the park, from programming, to trail circulation, to managing natural resources within the park. The final master plan will be used as a tool for planning and implementing future improvements by the City of Duluth in partnership with the Hartley Nature Center.
The City is collecting public comments and feedback at this meeting. Anyone unable to attend the meeting will have an opportunity to provide written feedback after November 20 on the City’s website at http://www.duluthmn.gov/parks/index.cfm
