City Cautions the Public about Falling Ice from Aerial Lift Bridge
[Duluth, MN] - The warm sun is a welcome reprieve from the frigid temperatures. Unfortunately, this also means that accumulated ice on the Aerial Lift Bridge is starting to loosen and fall onto the walkways and roads. The City of Duluth is urging motorists and pedestrians to use caution when travelling near or under the Lift Bridge.
The east walkway of the bridge is currently closed to pedestrian traffic and will remain closed until the City feels it is safe to reopen. The City thanks the public for their understanding and cooperation.
