Superior Street Reconstruction Meeting Scheduled for
January 7
[Duluth, MN] – The City of Duluth invites the public to the second in a series of public meetings to discuss the future improvements for Superior Street in downtown Duluth. This meeting was previously scheduled for early December but was canceled due to the winter storm.
The public meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 starting at 4:30 pm at the Radisson Hotel (505 West Superior St.). Parking is provided in the hotel ramp or at meters along 5th Ave West and West First Street.
Participants will have the opportunity to listen to a brief presentation on the project and participate in a design workshop to provide input on various aspects of the project streetscape design including pavement surface types, landscaping, street furniture, lighting, and other amenities. Members of the public are encouraged to attend, participate and submit their ideas.
