Superior Street Reconstruction
Meeting Scheduled for February 25
[Duluth, MN] – The City of Duluth invites the public to the third in a series of public meetings to discuss the future improvements for Superior Street in downtown Duluth, a major connector for commerce and tourism.
The public meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 4:30 pm at the Holiday Inn & Suites (200 West First St.) in the Lake Erie/Lake Ontario meeting rooms. Parking is available in the hotel ramp accessible from West First Street.
Participants will have the opportunity to listen to a brief presentation about the project and hear about the design options and amenities proposed at the last public meeting in January. Participants will have a chance to give feedback on the proposed design concepts and schemes which address streetscape design including pavement surface types, landscaping, street furniture, lighting, and other amenities.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend participate and provide feedback. Additional information is available on the City’s website at www.duluthmn.gov/superiorstreet
