NATURE OF INCIDENT: Male & Female Charged in Heroin Arrests

INCIDENT TIME: 11:30 AM
INCIDENT LOCATION: 8900 block of Edward Street

 

On Monday, March 3rd, 2014 Investigators from the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force and the Duluth Police Department executed a search warrant at an apartment located in the 8900 block of Edward Street.
 
During the execution of the search warrant approximately 5 grams of heroin, $5,460.00 in cash, along with other evidence of drug sales was seized. 
 
One man and one woman were arrested during the search and were identified as:
 
  1. JEREMIAH DANIEL CLAY, 22 year old male resident of Chicago, arrested for 2nd Degree Sale of Heroin and Child Endangerment. 
 
  1. DEMETRIA ALICE ROBINSON, 21 year old female resident of Duluth, arrested on a local warrant and Child Endangerment. 
 
Both were transported to the Saint Louis County Jail. On March 5th, 2014 Clay was charged by the St. Louis County Attorney’s Office with 2nd Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance. On that same date, Robinson was charged with Child endangerment.
