NATURE OF INCIDENT: Police Seeking Suspect in Daytime Business Burglary

INCIDENT LOCATION: Miller Auction House, 2803 West Superior Street

On Wednesday, March 26th, 2014 at 8:35 AM Duluth Police responded to a burglary that had just occurred at the Miller Auction House, 2803 West Superior Street.

Initial investigation revealed a 51 year old female arrived at work to find an unknown male in her office attempting to steal her work computer and tablet. There was a scuffle between the male suspect and the female victim. The suspect pulled out a knife and the female grabbed a broom and hit the suspect.  The female victim and another female chased the suspect and he ran through the Western Café and was last seen westbound on Superior Street. 
The suspect was described as:
  • White male
  • 6’2” tall
  • Thin build
  • Wearing a dark colored facial mask and dark green camo jacket
